ive been looking for any rainbow gatherings or drum circles in the central florida area or somewhere relatively close but havent found any. i called a few of the numbers available on various rainbow sites and skimmed through the forums to no avail. does anyone know of any gatherings/drum circles near central florida?
If you had really been looking, you would know of the gathering in the Ocala NF in Feb, and maybe even of the one in the Apalachicola NF in March.
It is to hot to gather in florida except in the coldest part of the winter.Most family are already long gone except during the winter.If you realy want to go to a gathering just make plans to travel.There is always a brother or sister who traveled further than you .The best gatherings are in the summer in the mountains. Alot of of florida family travels outside florida to gatherings.Get ready for 2011 national .It is always a lifechanging experience.Peace and Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you so much guys i really appreciate the replies. i can see why they avoid florida in summer its hot as mars. as for hitching with fellow rainbow-goers ill definitley look into that, im excited to meet other kindrid souls such as yourselves!
LOLWHUT? LINK And who are these "they" of whom you speak? Believe it or not, all RF are not "Long haired transients all f***ed up on that grog". Some live in houses & own property, and a few of these do so in Florida. How close are you to Tampa? There's a bar there called Skipper's, I think it is, where some of the local RF hang out.
allright allright its hotter than a planet that experiences a surface temperature(high) of 105 degrees (40.5 degrees celsius) and a low of 68 degrees (20 degrees celsius)..since today it was only around 100 and the low will be somewhere around 70..excuse my ignorant prejudice of mars based on its color as for "they" i didnt mean to imply that anyone affiliated with rainbow has long hair and/or does or does not own property. im about 100 miles from tampa unfortunately, but i dont think im too far from ocala which you mentioned in your first post. i moved to florida just recently so im not really familiar with the surrounding towns.
