I have had a few ++++ experiences. Once on some really good molly, once on alice, once on 2c-i, and a couple times completley sober. and also everytime i do salvia. i would love to hear your experiences. Complete loss of ego, and bliss, what a wonderful place.. being of light I AM love
is that lsd? I've never heard it referred to it as that but now a few of these sn's make sense. I've only referred to it as lucy. Or does alice d refer to ald-52 ?

I would say the 2 definite ++++ experiences I have had Was my 2nd time doing LSD and my first time smoking Salvia while on MDMA I have reached the same place for moments here and there on mushrooms, DMT, ketamine, 5 Meo dmt, San pedro, mdma and salvia by itself but those 2 experiences really stood out. I would easily add 5-Meo-Dmt to that list but I had some pretty terrible after effects and for that reason I can't put it up there with those 2 experiences.
Once when I was seven sitting in a cherry tree, and again when I was 18 during a church service. Once during a 400ug LSD journey. Then on a heavy dose of cactus juice, I felt as if in the same place, but the character of it was different. It was much more "nature centered", but still held all the mystery and awe residing in a ocean of blissful, naked existance. It was more akin to the natural, spontaneous events rather than the LSD one. The LSD induced experience of this type had a more detached from the material universe, pure energy character to it. Whereas the other experiences had emphasis on the interconnectedness and interdependence of all nature and the material universe. Yet still imbued with a respect and acknowledgment for the spiritual aspect of existence. LSD instilled oneness with all by removing all divisions and barriers that cause us to make differentiations between I and Not I. Mescaline instilled the same sense of oneness by celebrating the differences with the realization that it is by our very uniqueness that we have a unity with one another and all of creation. By focusing on that which is unique, it showed me that we all are valuable and united in this passion play. Like snowflakes, we are all comprised of the same stuff, physically and spiritually, but take infinite shapes and forms, every one unique and special and a one time occurance in this universe.
beautiful!! My experinces were similar, although the non-drug induced was the most powerful, but it felt absent of material existance, just pure light. the drug induced experiences however seem to, for the most part, allow for conciousness of the material plane to remain, while also experiencing the force behind existance. the pure etheric conciousness, creating material existance, allowing for the beautiful illusion of seperation that allows for exponential evolution.
reread the definition of a ++++. Don't create a thread like this and then start talking about your profound non-drug induced experiences.
Shulgin is talking about it in a drug related context, but the experience itself does not need to be predicated by drug use. I can see your point, but as I have had more profound, transcendent experiences without drugs than with, I think the inclusion of such experiences is valid in this discussion. Just because Shulgin placed the experience in the context of drug use does not mean that is the only place a ++++ experience should or can be discussed. He was only using Shulgin's reference for ease of defining what that experience is. My first exposure to such occurrences it was termed "Cosmic Consciousness" and I believe it was William James who first used that term. The question posed by the thread was if you have had that type of experience, not whether it was drug induced. Actually spontaneous and "natural" occurrences of this type of experience are more valid and revealing than drug induced ones simply because the experience can not just be attributed to drug effects and dismissed as such. It is the fact that people have had and do experience such states of consciousness without the aid of psychedelics that lends more validity to those experiences that are drug related.
I understand peak experiences and transcendental experiences can be had without psychedelic but that's not the title of this thread and it clearly is defined on what is a ++++ experience. I find the title misleading and if we are talking about peak experiences that are supposedly 'more' profound then psychedelic ++++ we are talking about something else.
It's very hard for me to answer this because I feel I get ++++'s very often, relative to others. I mean every drug induced instance of ego death for me has been ++++ . . . isn't that the point of high dose, universe obliterating trips? They are never just +++, it's never just 'effects interfering with functioning', there is always the mystic component for me, but then my personality is such that i find that component in so much around me (hence comments like 'everything is always so deep for mister writer' hahaha). And I've had the moments sober too, many times. But one will always stand out in my head, one with no contest, no equal, nothing that has ever come close in what it gave me and what i went through, and that was my 5 hit acid trip 2 years ago that turned my universe upside down and has me sweeping up the dust to this day. Nothing has been the same since that day . . . my life is easily divided into "Pre nov 2008" and "post nov 2008". I think that's a ++++.
Five in my lifetime. Once on LSD alone. Twice on DMT alone. Twice will taking a breakthrough dose of DMT while peaking on a very strong LSD trip. This is the mystical realm and it is as far beyond this realm and the tools of language as the Andromeda Galaxy is from California, USA. Peace & Love, Spicey Cat Purrrr!
I created this thread and reserve the right to discuss ++++ experiences in any way I want… even if that means comparing them to non-drug induced experiences. It is very interesting to me the similarities between these reported "++++" experiences and experiences happening in deep states of meditation. The main reason I started this thread was to hear what other people had experienced and compare them with my own. The last (++++) has stuck with me and it ties into an experience I had during a cleansing time in my life when I was completely sober. Deep into a journey with molly, I started to see the same vision of self I had seen during deep states of meditation. The same being of light I had approached and been drenched in its bliss. Only this time I was completely conscious of the self, the universe, and the most wonderful part... I was healing MYSELF. Too much to put into words… Thank you all for your input.

I have had one of these experiences. Oh, DXM is a hell of a substance. I was in my room, in the dark, sitting cross-legged on my bed listening to DJ Venom. I turned off the music and I traveled through my body and mind, I was aware of my surroundings, but only to the point that I knew I was in my house. I saw a white light and energy ascending from it, and I felt warm, calm. I didn't realize it then, but looking back I was so far gone. It was amazing.
