I have an ADHD person in my family, maybe it is useful for them but as a recreational drug this stuff seems to just suck.

Intense jitters followed the next day by an irritable speed crash. Whats the attraction? Is there one? What am I missing?

I get a huge euphoric rush once it kicks in for about an hour or 2, but yeah the comedowns are just horrid. not worth it IMO.

i liked adderall when i got them in school because they made me more social and i could concentrate more. i could concentrate fine sober, dont get me wrong. my adderall just made the most boring shit seem interesting. i never got any "intense jitters", but maybe i didnt take enough. or it could just be the person.

of course i have done 90mgs (3 30mg pills) but i dont know if thats considered high. i never really tried to take insane amounts of adderall. just a low dose was enough to get me focused, working harder on my school work, and talking with friends (im really quiet in person)

My "crashes" mainly consist of being grumpy and cold.

Plus adderall works on dopamine, the brain's reward chemical. If you enjoy taking speed, well you'll enjoy substantially more then people who are like meh.

Well the euphoria, increased sociability and focus is nice, but uppers really aren't for me. I've taken adderal and oral methamphetamine. As a normally very sociable person, I'm not sure if it's so good. it gets really obvious that I'm tweaked out on high doses. I'll talk way too much and just look like stereotypically coke-y. I far prefer downers, though.

I also have really bad anxiety, which gets much worse on uppers, while on downers goes away, especially with benzos <3

it really helps some people and sometimes, they chose to just live with the side effects because they haven't or can't find another way to control their adhd/add while not medicated. it does suck, but it sucks even more being adhd and unmedicated. however, if the person in question isn't reacting well to the med, you should talk to them, switching is easy and needs to be done a lot of the time with stimulants, to find the right one. just sayin!

There are studies done that show its legitamacy on effecting test scores positively and its obviously used for people with ADHD.

As far as straight recreational use goes its like diet speed, you get a mild meth high without any of the stigma attached to it, and Its also almost certain guaranteed purity.

I agree with what everyone is saying but wonder how it compares to oral meth. I think Desoxyn might be a better choice for some people but the stigma of taking methamphetamine is ridiculous. Doctors totally buy into the stigma too. They will prescribe adderall fairly easily, a little more difficult for dexedrine, but Desoxyn no way. So what gives in terms of the qualitative difference.

i agree, i think it would be helpful to a lot of people. but, there's always the group of people that will fuck it up.

i have only met one person in my life who is (admitting to being) on desoxyn for narcolepsy. they said the med worked fine for them, and weren't too concerned about it...

if i had it, i probably wouldn't tell anyone!
