    woody guthrie bound for glory. i thought it was a great book. i read it while i was hopping and hitching accross the country. people should read it. [​IMG]

    I've read it... although quite a while ago now. My knowledge of Guthrie was practically zilch at that time, and it inspired me to seek out some of the music.

    I came to post a thread on this but you've already got it. I am so inspired by Woody Guthrie. He didn't take any shit! I think when I'm reading it, I'm living vicariously through him and living out my dream of the open road or traintrack rather. Does the open road even exist today?
