Regional Gathering Woodstock Reunion

Does anyone know anything about the regional gathering on the Yasgur farm where the original Woodstock was held? It's supposed to be aug 12-17th according to family here: http://rainbowfamilyonline.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=349

 

THIS IS NOT A "gathering". you are going into a TOWN, the town of Bethel NY, NOT into the National Forest. This town has real cops that will throw you into a real jail if you try to behave on the streets of Bethel as you might behave beside the Maine Trail at a gathering. So mind your Ps & Qs & keep your clothes on.

Have not been toone of these gigs since '96, but I had a blast. The Yasgur homestead was owned at the time by the guy that owned the biggest beer distributorship in Sullivan ( I think it is) County. This is NOT a "non-commercial event".

 

I agree with you wonderingturnup.Nothing beats a real rainbow gathering put on by old school family.Money can't buy love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I was not making a qualitative judgment. An Annual Rainbow Gathering or regional gathering is neither better nor worse than a Woodstock Reunion. There's lots of old RF energy in Bethel. But the two events are fishes of different feathers. No comparison.
