okay so SWIM has done this correctly before but fucked up a little this time and is wondering how crucial the fuck up is. the first 30 minutes it has to be on low heat for the cactus goop to separate, rise to the top of the pot and then recombine. the guide says that "low heat and stirring are especially important during the first 30 minutes." after the 30 minutes is when the heat is increased to a simmer. SWIM had the pot on a light simmer for about 10-15 minutes before the cactus goop had a chance to do its thing and the procedure was sped up. so that 30 minute step is passed. How important is it to have the low heat and stirring during that 30 minutes? is the whole extraction now fucked up? is there potency lost?
