trying to wrap my head around doing this project. i'd like life size roses made from paper machie.... any thoughts on how to get this started?
when i worked at a hospital they had many arts and crafts, I would get these paper roses from patients, but still have no clue how they made them.. LOL.. I mean these people had serious mental problems and made stuff I couldnt figure out..
do you have a recipe for the papier mache paste? that, newspapers and an imagination is about all you need. the paste recipe i use: small bowl mix until smooth 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup COLD water then pour over this mixture 1 cup BOILING water stir until it becomes transparent. you may need to strain it or thin a little with cool water. just this much will last me three hours! of papier maching.
