Oxy and alcohol= wtf was I thinking

On Friday my brother threw a party because our parents were away on vacation for a week. It picked up pretty nicely and I was drinking on an empty stomach. I invited some of my own friends. Who later bought oxy. "You're the hostess so here you go" GREAT! I thought. Did a line off my dresser. Later smoked a little piece.

Then I was outside by the fire, and afew of my friends had to go. They asked if I wanted to come and I said sure. They said there would be more oxy. So I think why not. First we have to go to my friends house to pickup some more beer? So I said sure.

We get there. Im not feeling well, he gets his beer and hands me a bottled water. I say maybe I should go back home because im not feeling well he rubs my back and sais that he'll take care of me. So I say okay lets go to our friends house. We get there and they offer me a line of percs? Isn't oxy a perc already. I do that. Then I go lay down for a bit. I puked upon arrival. Then I do another line because its making me feel better. He said im puking because my body is withdrawing. I end up puking all morning, and needless to say it was a bad idea to do oxy when I was drinking and when I had never done it before in that quantity. So I puke all morning and im trying to get a ride home. Finally one of my friends gets her mom to pick us up. I puke in a bag in the car. Just stomach acid. I hadn't eaten, beside a veggie dog I had when I was drunk which was obviously gone by now. So I pulke and puke and dry heave and feel better the next day. Sunday when my parents get home.

But then I go and have a nap and wake up and guess what.

So far, diahrea, nausea, body aches, cold flash, hot flash, fever, hallucinating from that fever, labored breathing, coughing, stuffy/runny nose, sleeping...for about two days. its tuesday now.

Im thinking because I got so drunk it brough down my bodies ammunities.
Either way I think who I did oxy with didn't really know alot about what they were doing.
Oxy is a strong opiate.
Im wondering tho, for all those oxy users out there. If all of these flu symptoms could be from the oxy or if I was just shit out of luck right after.

I know i'm going to get flamed for this.
But the point on the post is to see if you think all of these symptoms are a result of doing oxy like that for the first time while drinking. I haven't had a flu like this since I was a kid.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience, neither of those drugs appeal to me and make me feel like shit. So I agree it's not a great combo unless you are a regular user of both. Strong opiates make me sick before I get a bit of a tolerance.

Yeah man. Strong opiates can fuck your world up if you're not ready for them. I no longer use/abuse such drugs, but the first time I shot dilaudid it hammered the shit out of me. I couldn't swallow my own saliva without throwing up.

While there is 5mg, 7.5mg, or 10mg of oxycodone in percocet, there is also hundreds of milligrams of acetaminophen(tylenol). It would make sense to learn a little something about the shit you're putting into your body BEFORE you put it into your body.

Werent you the one asking why heroin is so looked down upon drug users or something a few months ago or something? Well eventhough oxy isnt heroin they are both strong opiates and you can see the damage it can do.

I mixed oxycontin with alcohol once and definitely didnt have problems like you did, but I was pretty out of it and had an unpleasant hangover in the morning. I was floored off the combo though, like double blurred vision and nodding or like pretty out of it on and off, Be careful with that combo. Like it has been said though the Tylenol probably played a role in your symptoms.

Don't drink or do drugs on an empty stomach. I don't care if it 'gets you more fucked up'. So does drinking gasoline.

 

You haven't "fucked up" on opiates until you've blown half an 8mg sub while you were wasted off old crow with no opiate tolerance....

Wait, that was me last night. Fucking terrible idea. The lines "don't look toooo big" when you're drunk. Been throwing up all day.

 

People in massachusetts refer to all non Oxycontin brand oxycodone as percs. Mostly refers to 30 mg roxis. People call em perc 30s. I dunno if its the same slang that the OP is used to. Although yes I am aware that percocet is a brand name for oxycodone/acetaminophen tablets.

 

I've heard the term 'baby percs' being used for roxi 30's in New Hampshire...Must be a NE thing.
