I loved aMT very much for the short time it was around. I would love it for fests because of it's duration, but I madd flushed. I pee'd 30 times in a 10 hour span, probably more than that.. But it was very enjoyable, not ampy or speedy, extremely chill and has a huge music appreciation. I would totally go for it, I even safely mixed aMT with some ecstacy pressed pills.

 

Luckily being off by 10mg isn't going to lead to bad things with AMT.

Mr. Writer is correct. There are 2 types of MAOI's. Not to be overwhelming, but to give some information:

Type 1 is temporary and Type 2 is permanent. Temporary means it's just shut down for a few hours. Permanent means the work orders were cancelled at the factory and the factory has to completely restart, i.e. that the body must rebuild from scratch and it takes a couple of weeks.

Now, MAOI containing foods are always of the temporary type, as are the MAOI's that experienced trippers use (such as P. Harmala, B. Caapi & THH). But, if you take a prescription MAOI (e.g. Moclibimide) you are messing with the permanent type and could be taking a big risk with psychedelics and/or other MAOI use.

The best analogy i've come across is to think of two rooms, each containing 50 mice. Outside Type 1 room are 50 kittens but outside Type 2 room are 50 cats. Open the doors. Inhibit MAO.

In the kitten/Type 1/temporary room, the truth is that kittens don't really know what they're doing and mainly want to play. So, the 50 mice are mainly immobilized and perhaps a bit injured/shaken up but few or none are actually killed.

Now, the cat/Type 2/permanent room is an entirely different matter: Those cats are trained, experienced killers, know what they want and have no interest in "play." After a few minutes almost all of the mice are dead.

How to re-fill the room with mice? The kitten/type 1/temp room becomes filled with active mice in just a few hours once the mice recover from the physical/psychological trauma of playing with kittens. But, the cat/type 2/perm room takes a lot longer. The few remaining living mice need to recover then they need to get busy fucking to make more babies! This is how the room will be re-filled.

This is just an analogy to the way the two different types of MAOI happen in our bodies but it is a helpful one IMHO.

I mean, if you only have a 10mg scale, the closet way to get to 25mg is to reweigh the weight over and over. Get it where it says .02g (20mg) three times then weigh it where it says .03mg three times. Like this

Read 2: 0.03g
Read 3: 0.02g
Read 4: 0.03g
Read 5: 0.02g
Read 6: 0.03g

After that, you can install the Dual Double Dolby Digital DVD Device in your Dell Dimension Desktop...

Would it be a bad idea to take amt two days in a row, if one was to sleep in between.
Say 25mg as a first dosage at 5.30pm tomorrow and then maybe 35mg 4pm on thursday...

Finish my exams tomorrow, need to celebrate soon as I get out the hall but the local reggae dubs night isn' til Friday

I wouldn't do it. many members suggest waiting at least a week between doses. better to play it safe than feeling like killing yourself or others for the next week.

 

You should be fine, just don't make a habit of it. You'll also probably have crazy tolerance though.

 

Hmm cheers guys, since it's gonna bemy actual first time on amt I think I might just save it for the Friday! Getting pretty sketchy, exam tmr, shouldnt look at drugs as a stress relieving reward like that... well... maybe shouldn't!

two years ago i put like 25 mg aMT in a water bottle and took it at the beginning of class in a giant lecture hall.. made for an enjoyable class towards the end and the bike ride home was also very pleasant. when i got home i found it to be too mild so i took like 25 more mg and it made for a very long trip. i also drank ~ 10 beers while on it and i experienced no problems whatsoever. but i wouldn't drink again on the substance because it seemed to kill the mild psychedelic feeling.. so if you're smart you won't drink while on amt 'cause if you do, you're wasting a good part of the experience imo

yep, especially on amt as (depending on when you take it + when you drink) you'll get to "enjoy" a wide awake hangover

 

have any of you taken benzos with aMT? i just took one benadryl today after a long trip yesterday and it completely wiped away the annoying headache. i hear that benzos mixed with aMT makes for a more mellow trip.. you think this would be a good idea?

 

they cancel the effects of psychedelics. benzos are used to abort trips, along with antipsychotics.

 

Plus, amt is so chill already why make it more chill?

Returned home from exams at 5.30ish, took 250mg of 'supposed' mdai which did pretty much nothing, 2 hours later took another 250mg, equally nothing.

After deciding not to take aMT that night 2 of my friends wanted to try it, I gave in and by 9.30 we had dosed each around 25mg. Though I had gone against my own decision I wasn't going to go for a full dose.

We just did it in the house at 9pm.. when I next do this, would say if but I'm pretty sure I will I'll be dosing 40mg at about 2pm! Outside! (and hopefully have a better experience).

One guy is my age and I'm guessing around my weight, the other is a little lass a couple months younger n small yknow. He'd been drinking a bit but wasn't drunk, she was pretty drunk (hate alcohol).

T + 2 hours the female friend was feeling 'something' but then because the other two wern't she wondered if she was just pissed, she wasn't sure for a while.

T + 2.5 hours both guys just sat in chairs feeling very sedate, don't want to be bothered, heavy body load, pretty untalkative, the lass is very chatty and very active (alcohol?).

T + 3 starting to come around to it, feels okay, when I close my eyes there are some entertaining patterns, which I recommend to the other dude and thereby steal the lasses other source of conversation away from her

She still wasn't seeing any visuals but still felt "fucked".

T + 6 or so, wearing down in terms of any decent stimulation, any decent auphoria, it never really got there and though there were occaisional open eye visuals nothing much.

T + 7 I consider going to bed, we end up just getting stoned

T + 9 (ish) I go to bed, feel horrible, none of us had been sick but I had terrible stomach pains and a headache.

T + 10 Still awake, feeling still uncomfortable stimulation in eyes, mind, head, the pain in my head was horrible, kept twitching. Still seeing some visuals only rarely on selected things, same as it ever was with this dosage to be honest.

T + 12 Been lying in bed turning over and over for 3 hours without sleep, can't stop thinking about things, feeling very depressed (unsure if this was a drug induced extrapolation of my life anyway or whether it just made me analyse my life more, or whether it had nothing to do with the drugs. I assume it did that I had a freckin terrible pain in my head stomach was just feeling horrible.
During this time I came to some pretty horrible realizations about my life.

T + 14 ish I go see my female friend who's just woken up, feelin' pretty 'spritely' had no trouble sleeping, the other dude didn't either n he slept in until liiiike 3pm, at T + 13 it was about 11am.

11 am - 9pm I stay up smoking weed all day just eating what I can, very little energy, still feeling ill but not quite as bad.

T + 24 I fall asleep textin female friend to have a good night out

T + 36 wake up feeling better mentally but still depressed..

 

I took 32 mg the other day and had a much better trip.. very empathetic and reasonably euphoric. I used hypnosis after about hour 1.5 and I found, as I usually do, that this increased the sense of comfort and well being for the rest of the trip. I also saw some very strange and vivid things during the experience .. Next time I do amt I'm just going to take some benzos once the headache appears near the end because it's really not worth it for me to stay awake 12 hours after the trip ends with a migraine
