This is a pretty good movie worth watching, in like the first ten minutes of the movie there is no dialouge,,,,it keeps you interested the whole movie.
I didnt really like it that much. I was into it about until about 1/4 of the way through it, but just got bored with it for some reason. The Road was pretty intense tho.
We forund an old drive in move theater and this was playing. We went not knowing anything about it and it was much better then I thought it would be.
I saw this on a plane recently... I had seen 'The Road' before this, and couldn't help but compare them. The Road was extremely realistic and depressing-- probably one of the most depressing movies I have ever seen... with incredible visuals that really do make you realize that the end of the world is not a fun free for all where everyone just toughens up, becomes a martial arts expert, and kicks some ass. Basically, the world ends, and you sort of sit around and watch the world get worse and worse, struggle to survive (or kill yourself), and then you die. The Book of Eli was basically Mad Max with Christianity... but not even really saying anything about Christianity or religion, just using the Book as a plot device. It wasn't a very original movie, and it didn't really have anything to say. I guess it had some fight scenes, though.
