I-drugs, digital mind alteration, whatever. Seems the nasty old ethical people are ready to paint this as EVIL. The full story can be read here.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is fuckin hilarious... apparently its supposed to work, but not a typical "drug high"
yea i've tried it and it didnt work for me. it is useful for something though. just research brainwave levels, cuz with these idosers, you can control what brainwaves your brain undergoes. for example the characteristics of the delta brainwave level relate to more "psychic" abilities, it releases certain hormones that heal your body faster, and it teaches your brain to use less of your central nervous system so that you sleep less. there are a bunch of characteristics for every brainwave level, like during alpha (i think), people learn better cuz they retain things better. as for what idoser claims, not really for me. it probably works for some people just not me that much. but i did get a boner from the "orgasm" idoser. :leaving:
it seems some people for some reason seem to be against any type of altered state. It's like there's this little box and inside is all your normal feelings and states and if you do anything to end up outside of this box, well you just don't do that!! We're not sure why you shouldn't do that it's just its gotta be bad!
I saw this a while back, and I thought it was interesting. I found all the "doses" from one site on the pirate bay (SHH ) and I decided to give it a try. The first one I tried was alcohol, and I felt nothing. Then I tried the quick hit version of marijuana (basically a 10 minute version of the original 45 minute one that is supposed to bring the same effect) and it actually had an effect. O_O Within about a minute of the "song" starting, I started to feel funny. It felt like the room was turning. I got a bit scared and opened my eyes. As soon as I did that, the effect was gone. So I closed my eyes again, and it came back. I was able to stay focused this time, and the effect got stronger. It now felt like different parts of my body were turning in different directions... Like, my body was slowly becoming vapour and drifting off. It was a very weird feeling. The next night I tried it again, and nothing happens. Then I tried the hash dose, and again, nothing happened. However, I did have a hard time focusing (also with the alcohol dose). During the hash dose, whenever I would successfully relax, I would get that funny sensation I did with the marijuana dose... but it would never last long enough to strengthen because I simply couldn't keep it together. From my experience, I would not say it's a replacement for the real thing, especially if you're as twitchy as I am. The key to this whole thing is to relax and tune out everything else but the sound, and I have a really hard time with that, unfortunately. I would really like to hear other people's experiences with this.
I have a whole collection of these, not to get "high" but relaxation, meditation, getting creative, etc. They work by your brain matching the inaudible beats in the sound. You can produce an alpha state, which is like the feeling you have right before you go to sleep and sometimes get great insight to a problem or a creative idea comes. The theta state is the dream state. Those beats are slower. I entered a dreamstate once using this and all sorts of old detailed memories came that I had completely forgotten. Once you open your eyes and move around you are back in Beta, which is a normal conscious so no you can't maintain this and be awake. There are some files that produce fast beta for increased concentration to play while you are working/studying. I don't know if they work. Have you ever been doing something while listening to music and suddenly it gets on your nerves? I'd imagine it was becuase the waves were not in a state compatible with the task. Also these waves (the Delta files) are good if you have a hard time going to sleep. Delta are the slowest phase of sleep. BTW you need to listen with stereo headphones becuase the frequency of the waves are different in each channel. Your brain then synchs them to a "beat." If not heard in stereo they are inaudible and sound like a hum instead. The brain simply cannot hear the low frequencies so must interpret them through stereo.
for goodness sake eh, whats the big deal, just another example of society going crazy, that head teacher is needing a big fat dick up the arse, pompouse idiot, why is anything remotely interesting to younger generations always condemned to be wrong, these people should go live in amish communitys if there so uptight, it really pisses me off this lol seriously, fuck them, i hope acid makes a come back and and all these teens love it, that would be a big two fnger salute to all they knobs.......
i tried idoser, my best experience was with the nitrous one, laying down on my bed, eyes closed, light off, and focusing on the thing, felt like my body was swinging but not like the real deal, not that great effect, anyways ill keep trying maybe its a matter of relaxing ur mind, but i have problems with that cant keep it quite xP it would be really funny if they search ur mp3 player to see if u got it xD!! hahahahaha
