its really hard to name one, but...i love the lyrical content of Cassidy, and its the song that really got me hardcore into the dead. I heard Sugaree coming down from a trip once, and thats been up there for me since then....Sugar Magnolia always makes me want to decorate myself with flowers and go skipping through a field lol..uhh...the music never stopped has been my theme song this summer because its been hot for seven weeks now, too hot to even speak now....peggy o...st stephen...dire wolf..i really love all the songs from reckoning actually..and then..sampson and delilah...ramble on rose...there are just way way too many to pick one
Ripple hits me like never before. Middle age makes all those blues tunes so much more fucking personal and poignent! Peace & Love, Spicey Cat Meow!
These two are my favorites https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkKuhAxcH7g"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkKuhAxcH7g I listened to it on my first 2ce trip and my friend had never really heard them. He was tripping on mushrooms and LSD and he said the funniest thing ever at the time. "God damn now I understand why these guys are so big." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4SqDx1vi4c"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4SqDx1vi4c I just think this is a great song, not much more to it than that.
Its really hard for me to pick one because I have grown to love them all. My favorite dead songs change alot. But right now I would have to say im really diggin Althea (the lyrics really speak to me and is a reminder of past experiences in my life) and you gotta love China Cat But here is a very nice version of Althea ( with Jerry loaded to the gord). It takes a minute for the band to get in the groove, but once they do its like a swiss watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQFeuAbLHro"]YouTube- Grateful Dead - Althea 03-28-81‎

Dont have a favorite, Crazy Fingers strikes a chord for me though. Gone are the days we stopped to decide where we should, we just ride. Gone are the broken eyes we saw through in dreams gone, both dream and lie.
I have always loved Bertha and Uncle Johns Band. As well as many others. Ripple is beautiful. It is so hard to pick only one.

My all time favorite is 'Let it grow'. Aka 'Weather Report Suite' Part 2. Beautiful lyrics, lots of opportunity to jam(at least 2 jams per time played). I love how Phil can just explore throughout the song. I like the Mission Impossible/James Bond feel of Jerry's guitar. I even like the tone deaf additions that Donna can add. My other favorite is 'Cryptical Envelopment'.
