This is very unfortunate, but still, I wouldn't say it is the organizer's fault. Considering how many people go to the Love Parade, something much worse could have occurred. This really seems to be one of those situations where nothing really could have been done, and the organizers couldn't have really been prepared for it.
A lot of people are saying that had there been adequate entry and exit, it probably wouldn't have happened. I'm guessing the responsibility lies with organizers and city officials. In any case, it's a terrible tragedy for what really is an international community, even if not everyone realizes the scope of the community.
19 people being crushed to death is pretty bad. what was everyone running from or trying to exist so fast for?
^ There were 100s of thousands of people there and a relatively small tunnel the only way in and out and people just got packed in tighter and tighter and some panicked. That's my understanding anyway.
