MYTHOPOERIA 2005 @ Angahook State Park, Airlys Inlet, Victoria

This week! Thurs 10th-Mon 14th March

Described as a confest style workshop/bush party gathering with caberet, theatre, dance, dj's, and bands too. Vege food, camping, villages, and much more by the looks of it.

A friend of mine works at Opoeia and he gave my a few flyers on the weekend. I think this is the first one they've had.

GLOBAL GARDEN PARTY @ St Kilda Botanical Gardens

This week also, Sunday 13th March 2005, free event

10 villages, markets, food, lots of bands. Indigenous music, reggae, roots, cuban, afro etc etc.

I remember going to this one once and it was lots of fun.

Theres a Blue's festival in Katoomba sometime...don't know when though, lol...I think it's towards the end of March

Rainbow Serpent is the finest festival I've ever gone to! It unfortunatly was two months ago so you will have to wait 10 more months

Meredith Music Festival is second best i've been to. Also about 8 months to wait for that one.
If you are fast the Byron Bay Blues and roots Music Festival Is from the 24th to the 28th Of MARCH. It is really expensive and this years line up is not as good as last years ( IMO ) so i won't be making it. (last year had Burning Spear play - my favarite band in the world of all time hence my name - and i had a blast)

That festival thing on in Katoomba-i'm pretty sure-is on, on the shortest day of the year. Its either in June or July.

I wont tell you how to find them but if you're looking for a place to relax and chill with like minded souls, look into bush doofs.
