Man vs Food

Does anyone else watch this show on the Travel channel? It's pretty ridiculous. It's just about this guy Adam Richman who does food eating challenges around the country.
There's one where he eats 15 dozen (180) raw oysters. And I just saw one where he ate a 5 pound grilled cheese with 3 1/2 pounds of 14 different cheeses. It's one of those things that's completely disgusting but impossible to look away from. Makes for pretty good entertainment.
The amount of food he eats is pretty impressive, but I can't help but think of the agony he endures on the toilet the next day. Regardless, he has one of the best stoner jobs out there. How awesome would it be to get paid to travel around and eat food? :eggnog:

It's pretty damn sweet, before the grilled cheese platter one there was the episode where he eats a 12 egg omelet with a shitload of fillings, it was nuts. Apparently 60,000 people had failed the challenge to eat the whole omelet, but he struggled through the last couple bites and only won a plaque lol

 

Ya most of the time there isn't even a prize. I think he just does it cause he's an attention whore.

you can tell a noticeable difference in his weight between when the show started and now. it's pathetic

 

Supposedly he's actually lost weight since the show started because he's been doing alot of extra excercise.

 

i don't believe it. maybe he's lost muscle mass and just gained fat...he'd probably weigh less still.

he looks like a lardass, and whenever he does these challenges he sweats like a mad man and acts like a fucktard when he tries to woo some 36 year old, hardly attractive woman into cheering him on to stuff his face full of nasty looking food

He may be overweight, but he is probably healthier and more active than most of the people on the forums.
It's TV, he looks like a fat slob because that is the character he is portraying. He is a professional actor, and a talented human endurance artist.
