Seriously, I do not spend all day reading each and every thread on HF.

The article is current. This is random thoughts.

I saw the article and gave my thoughts.

This it the first time I knew about it.

I have not posted "this thread" anywhere or any time on HF or anywhere else.

I don't really come on here much, but my timing must suck because there always seems to be someone posting an idoser thread.

Well honest to god, this is the first time I have ever heard about it.

I am so out of touch with things.

They out to raid the kids houses and take away their headphones.

That ought to show the little squirts.

I have not heard of this and read this article as it is interesting.

Audio has always been used as a means of control and torture. So to apply it to this is not such a reach.

    Thanks for the info.

That article was pretty funny, I had seen the threads on HF for I-doser always pop up randomly but it didn't seem like something that could get that popular to warrant media coverage. I also didn't realize kids were filming themselves "idosing", which is humorously stupid. This comment below the article made me laugh:

Why can't people develop a hobby or learn something new or hone a skill or almost anything else, instead of trying to get high or trip off something that sounds like my old, loud-ass a/c unit? Hell, why can't they just listen to some good music and try "tripping" to that? Why do I ask these rhetorical questions?

Now people will be scrounging for old air conditioners for this purpose... sounds like a good hobby to me.

Perhaps the drone of a repeated rhetorical question will be the source of the next generation idose.

Well this is the first I have heard of Idosing and it seems pretty silly to me but whatever gets you through the day I guess. I will stick with good old fashioned illegal drugs though.:D

    Oh my god!

I downloaded the player and did the 2 programs that came with it.

    What a incredible joke.:D

This looks like a fantastic business. P. T. Barnum was right, "There is a sucker born ever minute."

I could just go back and re dub my old "Alpha, Theta and Delta" metronome audio tapes, and call it "Flashfuckinback city" and have kids pull out daddy's credit card and transfer money to my account.

My product would be a bestseller. Where the heck did I put those old tapes?

I am joking of course. But someone could make a mint off this shit.

music does have power....like country music ...it makes me want to vomit..so I totally understand what the effects can be..plus we can actually train our brains to react ...proof of this is how so many people have different ideas of what real music is...music is just sound that we process...everyone processes it differently and hears different music even though its the same sounds

Is it any different from hypnotism which was popular in the 60s and 70s? Kids aren't different from back then, just as gullible, just as keen, just as vulnerable.
