ice Seize 10 Pounds Of Pot, Guns In Hartford Bust

HARTFORD — — Police on Thursday said they seized eight guns and 10 pounds of marijuana laced with PCP while serving search warrants at 58 Annawan St. and 6 Regent St.
Police also seized $14,945 in cash and ammunition, said Sgt. Christene Mertes, a police spokeswoman.
The Hartford police intelligence division obtained the search warrants and conducted the raids and arrested Jorge Oquendo, 25, of 58 Annawan St. on eight counts of criminal possession of a firearm, three counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of possession a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession of a controlled substance, operating a drug factory and other charges.
