Well, one of my friends just got busted with probably a lot of bud and a decent chunk of blotter lsd. He's got a past history with drugs on his record, and I know he was on probation when this happened. Any good lawyers that could help him? And what is he probably seeing, time-wise (I'm sure he's doing time since he got busted for lsd also)
well, possesion of LSD is a felony regardless. Getting a felony charge while on probation is definitely NOT a good thing. So he would at least get something substantial for this - depends on the conditions of his parole. then having weed might be a separate charge. add on having quantities of either/both weed and LSD and that's probably gonna be an additional charge, maybe distribution. and if this is a second LSD charge, that could add on even more (depends on Illinois' laws with multiple charges). most likely a serious amount of time. now i'm no lawyer, but at least those are things to consider. tell him to go find a GOOD lawyer who's got a track record of working drug cases. and then find someone to help pay for it all, if needed. personally, i'd rather pay more money if it means i'll stay out of jail. it's worth it.
