Friends thanks for the warm welcome to Hip Forums. I am internationally know for my cannabis photography, contributing writer and photographer for Treating Yourself and West Coast Cannabis magazines. I moderate some med forums on the internet as well helping patients in any way I can..even if it is just a big smile from my images. These are from my Kryptonite Trainwreck x Bluemoonshine grow last summer...all un-photoshopped. I consider my photography art. Thanks for your views, you posts, and of course your appreciation....many more in my album here. DD
Then why mention it Sweet E ? These images are single frame digital captures by me with NO PHOTOSHOP manipulation what-so-ever. They were cropped, color corrected, slightly sharpened, and reduced in size for web. That is all and this can be verified by the Mods here at this, many more Internet forums, the editors of Treating Yourself and West Coast Cannabis magazines. Thanks for your interest and views everyone....mostly for your appreciation of my art, big smiles..DD
Badfish, Mr.Writer and stinkfoot..many thanks for your appriciation of my art. Summer is just around the corner and I soon will start capturing new images of the birds..DD
I was fortunate to stop by a friends who is just finishing the BOG genetics Sweet Cindy. The album of images is here Sweet Cindy thanks for your views and comments..DD
Thanks Candles, I have uploaded some new images to my Hummingbirds n Cannabis album. I hope some of you will look through those, here is a trio captured in my garden this past week, thanks for your views and posts..DD
What shutter speed were you using for the first images? It must be a really fast shutter speed to capture the wings so crisply (actually even in those first images there is a slight blur but it's very small).
Dazed thanks for stopping in, Rigamarole..nice nic my friend..I haven't heard that word since my mother passed! The faster speed I use is 2000/sec. I'm not sure how fast those pix were but somewhere close to that. Thanks for your visit..DD
Thanks, and yeah sounds about right. A hummingbird flaps its wings 40-80 times per second so to get a completely crisp and non-blurred image you need to be damn fast. I think the fastest shutter my camera allows is 1/1000th sec, which still wouldn't be fast enough.
Jedite I'm glad I could help. Everyone might look through my albums as I've added amny new pix of my feathered friends..DD
