    ive only heard a few songs by them like their singles and a few others but i like them some people think there soft but there coming from the heart you can tell. what ive heard i like tho

    On the record with "everybody wants to rule the world" is a live performance of 'head over heels' which will show you how seriously sick this band is. You may remember this song from the movie Donnie Darko. (Girls practicing dance routine in schoolyard with drew barrymore on teachers watch) Not soft

    yea i know exactly what your talking about that scene in Donnie darko kicks ass the music goes perfect with the school setting. are you saying that version was done live? if so its absolutely fantastic and demonstrates alot of talent on their part, ahh and i was thinking what a great one on one recording they did of that song either way its still really well crafted.

    Yeah, there's not much meat beyond their singles, but you're right, "Mad World" is wondrous.

    Their album Songs from the Big Chair is my favorite album of the 1980s!
    Please listen to that album :)

    I think they're one of the best 80s bands.

    My friend & I are still mad we missed them at the OC fair a few weeks ago:( Hopefully they'll come back soon!

    If all their songs were as good as their singles (and a few other various songs), then they would be the best (mainstream) 80s band.
    I feel the same way about Our Lady Peace and the 90s =P
