Buying Kids Alcohol

eh, where i live, supposedly you WILL get carded. given the fact that i'm told i look much older than i am, i've been tempted to try to do so, but hearing shit like kids getting the cops called on them is what keeps me from doing so. fucking stupid drinking age...

 

Nobody has the cops called on them for trying to purchase alcohol underage, it's not illegal to attempt to purchase.

 

what if you succeed, and then someone calls you out on it whilst drinking? you're making this way too tempting...my parents are going on a 17 day cruise soon, and first friday is either the day or the day after they leave.

 

As a liquor store employee for the past 4 years I can tell you it is certainly not illegal to attempt to purchase alcohol as an underager. The only point where it becomes illegal is if you try to use a fake id and they realize it's a fake, but even if they do call the cops you aren't obliged in any way to stay around lol.

Also if a minor does successfully purchase alcohol from a store the fault usually falls 100% with the store and the minor gets off with a warning

 

Meany!? I'm just opportunistic! Kids wanna give their money to strangers, they're gonna learn the hard way

 

Depending on what is being offered in exchange, yes I definitely would.

 

I buy it for my brother and his friends if they need it, but that's about it.
My bro is 19 anyway.. he'll be 21 soon enough.

 

I live in England, where the drinking age is 18, but it's the age for having your parents give it you in your own home is 5. If I had kids, once they got to about 14, I wouldn't mind buying them booze, cos I'd rather give it them than having them ask strangers for it. But as for buying strangers, probably not.

yea kids ask me for alcohol sometimes. i usually just take their money and disappear/go out the back way or something

 

I buy beer for them they sell crack to me, it's a fair exchange.

 

i will buy alcohol for underage kids that i know and trust when i am 21 but not randomly or all the time.

when we were really young we used to shoulder tap outside cool liquor stores and it never took too long before someone helped us out

most younger kids never have a problem getting alcohol where im from, fake ids are cheap

 

I won't when I'm older. Unless it's for my Brother of Sister. I've seen to many adults get fucked over by minors. We are all little shits

 

lol, i dont need to get adults to buy me liquor, i walk in the store and (legal age in canada) my 19 year old friend at the till "checks ID" but its only one of those dollar store credit card ID things.. he nods to the manager if he's watching and the manager wont give two shits.


Long story story short, im out the store with $25 dollars gone and a nice 12 case of beer

Well the easiest way to have Americans ignore the fact our min wage is ridiculously low, our infrastructure is falling apart, 1/5 of the country doesn't have health insurance and most of our taxes go into a gigantic military complex is to keep up sedate with cheap booze, the world's largest porn industry and various forms of state lotto.
