My name is Josh you can call me Jase. I was wondering if anyone here is pansexual and if anyone knows the feeling is different than just pure bisexuality. Lots of people claim its just bis rebranding themselves. All pansexuals are bi but not all bi's are pansexual. I think pansexual minded people are not attracted to a sex but more a charchter. I personally love geeky chicks and boys love those glasses and big brains. Lets shoot the wind about what attracts you because for so much of society its either a penis of a vagina.
This kind of sounds like me. I like cute geeks that are really smart and are always telling you what they learned. I love old men who are smart, stable, and secure (kind of like a james bond). I like girls who dresses like she's a celebrity everyday. I have like a whole list but those are like the main 3. I had actually never heard of pansexuals.
I also like the geeky boys and girls. It's something about their disposition that really gets me going!
Pansexuals will have a relationship with males, females, & transexuals. I wouldn't have a relationship with a male or transexual, but I would fuck both. I don't find guys attractive at all but would fuck one, however trans-women are hot.
Huh...might have just found my new title. I always thought that "love everyone" would go under bisexual. But the pansexual concept seems to be more correct. I mean, if you're bisexual, you should, in theory, have no problem with transexuals. I mean, if you like both genders anyway...? I guess I see the point though, if you're bi, but like to keep your carrots and mashed potatoes separate, then you're not pansexual. (I happen to love how food works for any analogy out there). Although it's a pain to now include the additional distinction (because not everyone knows the new classification) I guess it helps to avoid that one situation where you get back to the room and are shocked to find something that as a bisexual you find quite unappealing about your partner. Idk, I can see the reasoning behind having the two different titles, but I bet many people won't. Thanks for the info though, never had heard of pan before.
I have never heard of pansexual. everyone is different in the way they feel. I don't think I would want to be with a transexual. I am bi but I like the bodies of both men and women. I love the body of a well fit man and I like the body of a well fit woman As far as feelings. I have never had feelings for a man except one and that's my friend of years I have many male friends and aren't attractive to them at all but my best friend I used to be in love with and would have done anything he wanted. Now I d still have feelings for him but not nearly as strong as I had before. I did finally get to suck him off last weekend which was great. No regrets
I think there might be a difference. All labels are social constructs, so it's totally up to you how you want to brand yourself, however I think I might be more "bisexually" inclined than "pansexually." Basically, I enjoy almost all of my close friendships with guys and I'm occasionally attracted to a guy I meet sexually. On the other hand, I'm a lot more awkward around girls. I don't think it's because I'm gay, I think it's because I'm not gay and just a dork. So, though it's rare, I'm capable of feeling a deep emotion connection with girls i can't with guys. So for you (pansexuals) it's all about character, which I admire. But for me, my attraction to males is often quite a bit different than my attraction to females.
Straight men and women will also have relationships with transsexuals. Even if sometimes that is unknowingly. Also, there are only 2 genders. Male and female. Transsexual is not a gender. Not only pansexual people can love transsexuals.
I don't use the term pansexual for me, but use bisexual instead. However, I am attracted to males, females and anything inbetween (depending on the looks and the personality of the individual). Includes transsexuals, people whose gender identity is fluid or in-between or at odds with their body etc. E. g. male aura in a female body or so if you know what I mean. But for me, the term bisexual can be applied to me however. Though I know quite a lot of bi people don't like it mixed up in a person. I thought that was what pansexuals mean when they say they're pansexual?
pansexual is a term used to describe people who don't want to label themselves by calling themselves bisexual so instead label themselves as pansexual. It's a pointless classification. It's like some people are afraid to admit permanent attraction to the same sex and thus use pansexuality as a get out clause. Bisexuals are attracted to both, are willing to have a relationship with both in some cases (though some are just sexually minded through and through). Pansexuals 'claim they just fall in love'. The difference then is pansexuals confess to the idea they are always willing to love and fall in love with either gender problem with that is your just classes the whole of the bisexual community based around the idea of promiscuousness. AND that is meant to be a stereotype, so some gays are actually stereotyping others here. I was under the impression being bisexual meant you liked both and would be willing to have a relationship with either. I mean, some strait people sleep around and don't want to fall in love and simply don't. Does that not make them strait and technically pansexual as well, one sex is covered by half in the law of pansexuality. I don't mind what people call themselves, so long as they are happy. But I personally just like to call a spade a spade.
A pansexual is someone for whom the physical body of someone is completely irrelvant in a partner. Although I guess some bisexual people could also come under this category. I think what people say who are pansexual, is that although bisexual people can be attracted to members of both sexes, the physical and sexual attraction is still important to them. Whereas those things are not important to pansexual people. The physical attractiveness, or lack of it, is of no importance to pansexual people.
