Advice or Info on LED System

Has anybody used they guys before? That and how many plants can I grow in 12 sq ft?

look here, someone used them... I have dozens on hid, so I wouldnt get LED unless they were free..

 

Yeah i seen those. She's a mod but she's the one selling the lights too, I just wanted to hear somebody elses view on LED

 

sorry, not much people here using them... This forum is slow for Marijuana grow assistance.. While the hip forums is a large community, the marijuana threads are not..

The ufos seem nice to reduce heat and for stealth they are pretty good..
Im not sure of the space requiements for them, 12sqft to me sounds like 4 healthy plants..

 

Thanks man, 4 was about what i was thinkin too. Yeah, its i'm just starting from scratch again and wanted to research a few different routes this time.

 

depending on where you live, right now would be the best time to get something started and booted to the outdoors to flower naturally.. still time even if you live in Maine...

you can always add a little bit of CFL Light bulbs they go well together then and the leds..

 

I've used 'em to veg, very good lights, but I never spent that much for them. Try Ebay I bought 2 from two different sellers never more than $200 w/shipping.

As to their effeciency, I can say each works great up to about 3'x3'x3' any taller I can't say 'cause I transplanted them to the grow room after that. I kept one and hope to try again... when possible. Not only do they use less electricity but it's recomended that 16 hr. light cycles are plenty!>)
