    So, was this pic a prop or was it actually a video game in the '80s. (I never got into video games, just watched the display screens on Pong and Pac Man that were in bars.)

    I just watched The Last Starfighter again recently.

    The movie was one of the first in 1984 to use CGI for all the space effects, and it was enjoyable, altho a bit crude by todays CGI. Tron (1982) worked better, since all the action was inside a computer and you expected it to look so computer graphic.

    I believe they made a video game from the movie.
