Boycott war games and war movies.
The videogame and the movie industry have been making money from war since the very beginning.
    Boycott weapons,don't buy them.
If nobody would buy war related products anymore,we would see quite a many companies going bankrupt.
    And also,don't join the military.
Wars only happen because people "buy it" in one way or another.
Here is a great video on the subject:

I've never cared much for war games, however that's because I'm a sports game guy. I like FIFA, Madden and NHL.

I do however enjoy war movies, especially ones that are WWII and older. Newer war movies (ie. Vietnam, Iraq) bore me.

Also, many people have no other choices but to join the military. They provide a decent education for many people.
Look at history since the beginning of man. Wars have always been fought and will always be fought.

What about Anti-War films? There are more of those than Pro-war films.
The only Pro-War film I know of is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsBSqrU-vz8"]YouTube- John Wayne - The Green Berets Part 02-16

I don't think boycotting war would work. Desire for the unattainable and all...
Best get people to stop caring for violence.

They have a choice : Don't join the military.
If you join the army for the reason to get a better education for yourself, then you are placing yourself above everyone else;your education mattered more than someones elses life.
Maybe you didn't personally kill anyone while being in the army, but you were part of the organization and therefore supported the war industry.
It' all about choosing what to sacrifice:Your education or everyone else?

That is how most people think, and that is also why we still have wars going on in our planet. As long as people think that wars are a "natural thing" there is no way they can be prevented.
What is needed is change in the mind level.
Wars should be thought as "unnatural".
Only then they can be stopped.

If you think that it wouldn't work, then it won't.
    It's all in the mind.

So you'd rather have people not join the military to get an education and off the streets or bad neighbourhoods?
I've heard of numerous stories where if people didn't join the military they would have ended up in the local drug trade because they had no where else to turn.
So yes, it is okay to join the military.

Do you honestly think countries like Iran or North Korea and other countries in similar situation are going to dump their military? Of course not.
They'd relish the idea of North America or any European country to rid themselves of the military.

They still had the choice to say "no".
Say "no" to the military and say "no" to the drug trade.
Maybe after that you don't have anything left in life and then you die,but hey, you'll die anyway some day.
The option to say "no" is always there, even if the result would be your your physical death.
Most people are afraid of dying, and that is the reason why they can be controlled so easily. When faced with the possibily of death or physical harm, they think that "there is no other choice",and then they obey their masters.

Yeah, that is the other big problem.
The countries who have power(militaries) do whatever they want, and the only thing that can stop them is another military.
That is why people see the need for militaries.
But on the other hand if one country would conquer all other countries, then they would be no wars, since there would be only one country in the world, but if that country would be like North Korea then we would be living in a tyranny(in a worse tyranny than where we live now) and that would suck.
    So it's a complicated issue.
Join the army or don't join, but remember that the choice is always there.

It's easier said than done to say no to being apart of the drug trade. If someone lives in a low income neighbourhood and have no where else to turn, they'll join a local gang.
No one wants to be apart of it.

Unfortunately if we allowed one country to conquer all just to rid ourselves of war in the 1940's, the lucky ones would be speaking German right now.
Even if the world was run by one country/army, a large group somewhere in the world would resit it and want to fight.

I'm not going to deny that having a world where war isn't needed would be nice, but it simply isn't realistic.

Iraq isn't your enemy (hint: it never WAS your enemy) .... Iran isn't your enemy (hint: it never WAS your enemy) .... neither one of these countries, in fact, has ever posed any kind of a real direct threat to Europe and the USA .... but how about Afghanistan, where the elusive "Bin Laden" is said to have been hiding out ? "Bin laden" is the patsy who took almost all of the heat for 9-11, in spite of the fact that there was never a single piece of genuine evidence to implicate him in that crime (nobody seemed to care very much about evidence in the climate of madness that ensued during the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks). The Taliban isn't your enemy (hint: it never WAS your enemy) .... but how about North Korea ? Is North Korea your enemy ? The Leader of North Korea certainly appears to be acting like an irrational madman, or at least that's how he's being portrayed in the propaganda that passes for "news," but if I were a gambling man, I might be willing to wager that it's all just part of the same old war-making scheme which emanates from the common source of all wars. I am referring to the "ruling elites" who occupy key positions in the government and newsmedia, and also to others like them who occupy similar positions of power and influence (say, for example, in some field of industry or in some related area), and who, it would seem, are always on the lookout for some new "poster boy of evil" - "evil villain" - or some new "Saddam Hussein" type of character which they can employ as an excuse for starting new and bloody wars in which great numbers of people are killed.

The ruling elites are absolute masters when it comes to creating wars .... it would seem as if they can make a war almost out of thin air !

I hope that you aren't buying into the notion that the USA has enemies in the Middle East - other than Israel - who are looking to do us harm !!
