I've so many dreams but whenever i try to accomplish something i end up talking myself out of success. For example I've been unhappy with my weight for the last 12 years and have tried so many diets that just ended up failing. Its like i cant convince myself that i can do it.
The perhaps bigger enemy is guilt, in company of shame and fear. The perhaps greater accomplishment is learning to laugh. Seventy years sounds good enough to get there. Let your own dreams guide you ... not those of other people. Just a thought.
Somebody once told me "Hey man, you won the race. Of all of the millions of sperm cells released during an ejaculation yours impregnated the egg." I've said it in another post that the diet industry is essentially a bunch of snake oil salesmen. In our modern time we have gotten lazy and want the quick fix so we go on a diet to lose weight. Then when we lose the weight we wanted we stop dieting and go back to the eating habits we had before and gain the weight back, and the cycle starts again. It is more work but learn how to eat. Change your diet and you will lose weight. Peace Out, Rev J
If you believe that you will fail at something, you influence yourself to fail. If you believe that you can do something, you influence yourself to succeed. Your current attitudes subconsciously affect you behaviors and your thinking. Its psychological fact. And everytime you think or say that you are a failure your just reinforcing that attitude that you are a failure. Stop reinforcing that attitude! Believe you can succeed. Be confident and optimistic. Tell yourself that you will be successful, over and over again until it becomes a permanent, automatic belief (attitude). Make your attitudes work for your benefit.
