one of my favorite bands, mikael Akerfeldt with members of katatonia.. if you guys haven't listened check them out, my favorite song by them (when mikael took his break from the band... he still does a badddasss live version... who is singing this is peter Tagtfren from hypocrisy) Eatennnnnn!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBfoMgllphs"]YouTube- Bloodbath - Eaten carve me up, slice me apart, suck my guts and lick my heart! chop me up, i like to be hurt... drink my marrow and blood for dessert!

oh yes the thrash of the serbia's bloodbath there is very few thrash i can stand through, as well as actual death metal though i did start with death i am now more into progressive
I fuckin' love 'em. I am off to Bloodstock festival in August Bloodbath and Opeth on the same day. Beat that shit!! :hurray:
although Dan Swano fucked up the drummer on the first album. That guy ruins basically everything, though.
Well, it depends. They call him a multi instrumentalist, and I don't doubt that, but his drum skills are utter garbage. The first Bloodbath album was ominous as fuck, his standard 4/4 plod along underneath felt just out of place. And he also destroyed a couple of the earlier Katatonia albums (Tonight's Decision being one of them). Great songs, very average drumming. Listening to the later Katatonia albums and you can hear the difference. He's a pretty good guitarist, though.
talking about opeth, matin lopez' drumming was the sexiest drumming i have ever witnessed. damn latino drumin` skills :drool5: but axe is the Man
Agreed, he brought a flavour to Opeth's music that they wont get back. Axe is alright, Watershed was a good CD, but I miss Martin
Still Life is what it's all about.. that is the greatest metal CD I have ever heard, I honestly think that. I have yet to trip out to it, though
