Yehhhaaa..... That's going to happen. Kinda how knots are. Once your natural hair takes over whatever method you used as your roots grow in, you'll end up with lumps and the like, no matter what.... unless you spend all day with a crochet hook.

So not minding that, keep your crotchet hooks awayy from me hah... I admire dreads with personality and would like to someday own them but it was... Gross like... I can't really explain it was like wire-wool-cobweb texture (?!) and it kept getting caught in my ear piercing heh.

Nothing like her. Unless you have plasticine dreadlocks... :D I couldn't find any semi amusing plasticine hair photos from my plasticine days in 1990 to put here.

Just washed my hair with bicarb for thee first time, and also this olive bar soap my mama brought back from turkey (supposedly "all natural" but ingredients in turkish so they could be tricking me). I used the soap on my hands and face the other day and I was like... this stuff is amazing for some reason, hmm, how will it be on my hairs...
This is the nicest my hair has ever felt, ever, and its not even dry yet haha but yeah it's made me stupidly happy. So when my sister gets home I'll use her camera to take some proper pictures or a video, as this is the first time i've felt there was anything worth seeing :p she should be home in like 20 mins......

    Thaanks you guys :)

Ooh (noob) question... is root flipping really as bad as ive heard?

Only... I don't do it in any sort of maintanence way, i didn't realise it was a thing people did and don't really care about all that, but ive noticed that ive been doing it absent mindedly... and im very good at forming habits and not great at breaking them so basically; is all my hair going to fall out......?

Probably not ALL your hair :D. Yea, root flipping weakens the hairz... doesn't mean it's "bad" but it could be if you do it often, or if there's one in particular that you flip more than others. Also it usually results in a weird bumpy/twisty texture that doesn't look the same as natural bumps and kinks.

The only thing I know about root flipping is that it will give a different appearance to your dreads than if you didn't. That's all. =)
