Yeah, I know I can google it, but what were your experiences, good or bad? Do you think it's bad for you? What're the side effects/pros and cons? Would you do it again~?

IMHO 16 is a tad young. i would respectfully suggest that you do as much research as possible. Read every post here, at Erowid and elsewhere. Get some books like DMT: The Spirit Molecule and start reading.

Nothing can really prepare a person. Helps to have a solid foundation of self/ego/stability/experience to return to given that DMT can completely blast one so far out of realty/one's body that one truly forgets they have smoked it and think they have died.

That is one extreme end of DMT experiences. There are so many more.

There is no rush. You have a long life ahead of you to look forward to. Take some time, do some research, meditate, prepare. You may find you get a lot more out of it. And you may be able to recover quickly from a difficult experience.

Nothing can prepare one for DMT. Live life as honestly, fully, as awake and with as much mindfulness as possible. Go into the situation FULLY prepared to SURRENDER EVERYTHING you have and you are. Go into it feeling okay with the idea of your death. Meet any/all challenges in life and in hyperspace with peacefulness, mindfulness, acceptance and love in your heart and mind and all will work out in the end.

I've had more good experiences than bad- but the bad experiences are either because of a dumb set/setting, or because it got really wierd and i lost my cool. There is literally nothing more wierd than this on earth i think. But even the bad experiences your still left with a huge sense of profound wonder that you've touched on some cosmic secret that holds the key to the monkies place in this star swarm. Most of the time when it goes bad its only because your peeling off layers of yourself that you didn't want to look at, but have to deal with in order to grow. So the bad can be the best and most necessary as well.

Dmt isn't a drug. Drug is a word with a lot of dumb cultural stigmas attatched to it, so the quicker we get rid of that cobweb of misinformation the better. It happens to be one of the safest psychedelics known to man, you wont overdose, or get brain damage. It will be intense..but the love and understanding you feel when you dissolve is unfuckingbeleivable..its really a catalyst for our evolution. Just look at the shamans in the amazon who've known these things for thousands of years

It is a neurotransmitter produced by the human body and found throughout nature, and also a key to other levels of BEING. Apparently other planes of reality that all the religions intuitively sense, and the mystics are sure exists. Real or not? you decide. One thing i must suggest is to withhold all expectations about this and don't come to any big conclusions on anything. Its better to remain open and not fall into delusions, because NO ONE understand this big mystery we call life.

Its very similar to a high dose of mushrooms in the dark (4hodmt). Anything can happen in this place...information downloads, living other lives, being taken apart and put back together, BEING other THINGS, soaring through galaxies, alien worlds of unimaginable complexity and intensity. I literally believe that santa, the easter bunny, and peter pan are real because it seems to be a frequency that contains everything anything has ever or will ever imagine. Whether its all in our heads, out of our heads, or both simultaneously, i dunno.

Read as many trip reports as you can find and research the molecule as much as possible. Theres alot of good books..The spirit molecule, inner paths to outter space, tryptamine palace, also mckenna's and bob Wilson's books are top notch.

I don't see any problem with your age. Age doesn't seem to mean all that much honestly. Mine as well start mettaprogramming your nervous system as early on in life as you can before the cultural conditioning molds you. I know many young people who are much more articulate and intelligent than folks twice their age, and vise versa. Everyone is different. If your not familiar with psychedelics at all i suggest a low dose first.

And definitely acquire some lsd and mushrooms as soon as humanly possible =]

    oh and meditate metitate mettatate

    I don't like smoking DMT.

I tried it a few times and it seemed rather colorful but pointless. I prefer to take DMT in the form of Ayahuasca; B. Caapi vine and Chacruna Leaves.

I'm just quoting you to try and hit on all the points. Before I answer I agree with spicey cat that I think 16 is too young and maybe wait awhile and try and let it find you and experiment with like mushrooms, LSD, mescaline, etc. in the meantime. All of those are very valuable experiences and I don't really think a 16 year old can do much with trips like DMT, Not a lot of experienced adults really can do that much with it to be honest.

I have had both good and bad experiences on it, It hits you so fast and so overwhelming that many times the idea of good and bad are kind of meaningless. It's more like it just shows you something like 'a fractalized cerebral powerpoint' set at the highest speed. I have had a headache after smoking it but I don't think it's particularly bad for you, the smoke is really harsh to inhale so that may be a problem. Yes I will most certainly do it again it's something use sparingly for me though, the pros assuming you have never done any psychedelic before would be that it will completely destroy any notion on what the possibilities of reality are, you can choose to accept that as just an effect of the drug but I guarantee you have never seen anything like it before. Even if you have done psychedelics the visuals are far superior and concrete than any other psychedelic. The cons with smoking it, is that it gets on you so fast, is so overwhelming, and is over so quickly that it's hard to integrate much of what you saw into real life or even remember all that well. Personally I think DMT is amazingly interesting, powerful and beautiful but I think LSD is more valuable.

Also I don't know if it's because of it's legal status or what but many people seem to not put it on the same pedestal as DMT but I find Salvia Divinorum is pretty much the same type of experience as smoked DMT but the worlds they show you are completely different. The body high of Salvia is much stranger and unnerving than DMT's body high and that may be a reason many people don't hold it in high regard.
