It's probably the psilocybin, it turns blue when it hits oxygen. Was it on the stem where it's broken?

It bruises blue where you have handled it when harvesting, it does mean they are the real deal, and does not change the potency.

Be careful though if you picked them yourself, there are some species that bruise blue and are still poisonous. If you grew them then blue is fine, or if you bought them. Blue is sign of psilocybin or psilocyn being present
