Hey everyone... I want to plan a meet-up of dead heads/hippies and all that jazz somewhere in Southern Ontario. Somewhere we can all go to listen to some sweet live tunes, people can sell art and other such things, we can dance and there will be food, etc. Who would be interested in something like that? A friend from Baltimore turned me on to the idea when she told me a bunch of people from her hometown do it every year behind a Wal-Mart, haha. I was thinking a park, though...

We need more things like that in Ontario!, What is it exactly that goes on in Hamilton blinkin?, I've been tryinf to find gatherings and events in southeren on Ontario, but it's difficult!
ha..thats because its common knowledge that the hippies are mostly in eastern and northern ontario on account of southern ontario is way too settled..way too polluted and just way too corporate...we have the land...we have the organic farms and we have the water so the hippie lifestyle and general way of living is everywhere here there is one here this weekend called ''blue skys'' that is very popular[clarendon] http://www.igs.net/~tonyc/concerts/blueskies.html there isnt an official site for the fest cause these hippies dont dig the internet
I would love to be up there but I'm some what "stuck" in the south part. It is WAY to settled, I agree. Every piece of field and forest has a sign up saying what it is soon going to be turned into.. makes me so sad!

nah niagra region is pretty rural, thats where I kick it these days. hamilton sucks ass, but the sky dragon center on king william has a lot of good people, coming and going, Id suggest hooking up with kids from there, or hitting a rainbow, not many get thrown down these neck opf the woods.....buddioes right ontario sucks, not the best place for a good cat to curl up....babylon owns it all here. the north is good, just went to hillside in guelph, best hippy gathering Ive ever been too. could have even topped a few rainbows Ive bee n at. still, theres efamily here, Im slowly meeting the good people the kick down here. peace
