So my cousins usually go to rainbow gatherings, and this year my Aunt (who's also never been before) is going and she is bringing me. I'm wondering what kind of things I should bring and what kind of clothes to pack. We're only going to be staying the weekend thought so I don't think we need to bring much, right?
Bring plenty of non-perishable foods (think PB&J sandwiches, etc) but at national gatherings there is no doubt there will be an abundance of food kitchens where you can wait in line for a meal. Don't forget your utensils set & bowl if you're planning on trying food from other people. I used to wear a fork on a necklace so I wouldn't lose it As far as clothing, that depends on where it is. If you're only going for a weekend I wouldn't worry about bringing too much clothing with you. Just have long pants and a warm jacket on reserve just in case. Where in the country is it going to be this year? I heard it's going to be somewhere in the middle of the east coast. Also, don't forget to bring lots of water. Hope this helps! Oh & don't forget to have an amazing time
Thanks! It's in Pennsylvania so hopefully it won't be too hot. And my aunt told me she's bringing the utensils and stuff. She also said if you want anything there you have to trade, so she said she's bringing candy bars, but idk if that's going to work out. And she's bringing drums too.
