I prefer ozzy with Black Sabbath but yah the guy is pretty incredible for what he's done for 40 years.

 

ozzy with sabbath is a great thing, the first few solo albums are good too, but after Bark at the Moon it really drops off....

I used to love ozzy and everyone looked at me strange - now everyone loves ozzy and I look at THEM strange!

 

Ozzy with sabbath was amazing.. I'd love to see a reunion tour.

And yeah, he'll never top blizzard of ozz and diary of a madman, but I still enjoy his stuff. Gus g gives him a new sound.


(also, I don't know that everyone loves ozzy... I'm one of the few people I know who actuly listens to him, and know more songs than crazy train.)

I hate to say it, love Ozzy, but his new record is horrible. He should hang it up. Him and Rob Halford, dude's voice is GONE

Ozzy's guitarists were always the best thing about him.. He really can't sing that well, but his songwrighting is the shit

 

naw I think the past couple of Ozzy cds with Zakk has been boring...

 

Zakk's career with ozzy lasted way too long.. All ozzy's shit started sounding like BLS. And the pinch harmonics every 3 seconds plus the fact that the only scale he ever used was the minor pentatonic majorly started pissing me off.

That being said, zakk and ozzy came up with some really cool stuff early on.

But I mean,
iommi: cool stuff
Rhodes: fucking beast, my favorite guitarist of all time
lee: was decent, mostly liked him for the song killer of giants, but i'm glad he didn't stay longer than he did.
Gus g.: is awsome... I'm excited to see what he can do once ozzy dies (it can't be that far away), he'll start his own band.. And they'll be awsome. Tho firewind is pretty cool.

I don't know the guitarist of every band I listen to.. Apparently I underestimated his current awsomness

 

Fail is to not knowing of Gus G before he blow up but then again am being harsh since I dont know if you play guitar?

 

OMG just finished listening to it and my ears dont hurt from all the artificial harmonics.

but the seriously the begin is a bit boring but its get better and Gus sounds great no surprise.

 

Yeah.. I do.. I'm pretty dissapointed in myself right now.

I know all those bands and can play a bunch of arch enemy, firewind, and dream evil, i just somehow never relized it was him in all of them

its ok cuz I know gus is very and more creative then zakk.

 

The intro makes up for it.. Zakk never wrote anything that cool with ozzy
