Found in my backyard, Help to ID

    I am in Long Island now, this week is pretty wet and not so hot and found mushroom, is it liberty bell?

    this is a true liberty cap, much dark not really super common arou

    They look very similar to liberty caps. I couldn't tell you if they were for sure though.

    Those are all over my yard now. Not edible, but not deadly AFAIK.
    I think there was a very similar post on Mycotopia recently...but I can't remember what they said they were.

    they are Panaeolus foenisecii, close relative of pan subbalteatus. They do not contain much of any psychoactive psilocybin , it they do, its so low that you would need to eat 1000000,0000's of these Tiny shrooms for a trip.. On the other hand. They do however have serotonin and 5htp and can be taken with other true psilocybins to make the trip more active. but its hard to tell if they did enhance trip since the true psychedelic mechanism isnt understood..
    these are not poisonous by any means, taken alone they may just give you a pounding headache..
