Cool, I've checked out Elf some time ago but didn't know of this cover!

 

Seriously fucking cool. Almost makes one think that Dio should have just sang for Sabbath from the beginning.

 

I came to the conclusion that DIo in BS was better then Ozzy.

Sabbath is Iommis band but the best frontman they had was the Ozzman. Dio was the better vocalist/overall person

 

I think Sabbath just needed a bloody fool for a front man...

I saw Elf live a few weeks ago, they opened for Porcupine Tree. I liked them, nice sound

Ozzy went bad when he left BS. Period.
Ronnie JD is much better than Ozzy solo. Period

Dio and Ozzy both had great and lousy solo-albums, only difference is Dio's good solostuff (and of course his albums with Rainbow) is even better than his stuff with Sabbath. Sabbath's Ozzy-years can't be topped by no one

 

I guess Ozzy was a pretty essential component of early Sabbath's style and atmosphere. Anyone else on vocals would have seriously compromised the innovations brought by Black Sabbath to heavy metal.

Let's just that Dio should've replaced Ozzy a couple years before he actually did.

 

That would have sucked for Richie Blackmore (and me )

 

Yeah, I know. It would suck to loose the B side of "Rising." Those are my favorite Songs by Rainbow.
