Ego death

Do you consider ego death a good or bad thing?

 

I think any sort of ego death that doesn't involve physical or longterm (past the experience) mental harm' a good thing. I think it makes you realize and appreciate the delicateness of life more and perhaps for many gives them better perspective on their place in the universe.

 

But I'll bet the lady bears love it.

 

Ego can never died but it can hurt.

 

I don't like the term "ego death". It is more like ego disassembly. Your "ego" doesn't die, you just really see all the components that comprise who "you" are from a detached, non-judgmental perspective.
On rare occasions for the rare individual it can also be reassembled in a different and hopefully better, more true to spirit way.

The whole concept of ego death has been gone over ad-nauseuam and I for one don't think a lot of folks have actually experienced full ego disassembly, but rather ego sublimation. "You" are no longer the focus, but just another "thing" to be observed and considered. The normal defense mechanisms we all employ are seen for what they are and often we can assess how they came to be.

I have only experienced true "ego-death" once, complete loss of "me" and melding with everything and nothing simultaneously. It was a beautiful and life altering experience.

That is my take on it.

Do you consider puberty a good or bad thing?

 

Well if we never reached puberty I would never know the giggly fun of sticking my privates into someone else's privates, but on the other hand we would remain children forever and therefor it naturally follows that we would all be God together, so I have to say that puberty is bad and only happens as a result of evil within ourselves manifesting in our physical bodies by warping us into sex-crazed, hairy, primal-driven creatures, because all of these things are evil and children are God.

 

But what I meant to say, is technically babies are God, but like sometimes I just get so high and end up saying something else entirely woooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

 

Although I do believe that with enough magic rocks, and if you think REALLY HARD the process can be reversed.
I mean it's currently illegal (FUCK you, America!!!) but as soon as the grand cosmic wave of love hits in 2012 the corrupt politicians will realize the error of their ways and fix everything.

i havent had a good ego death in a while, just many strong dissolvings lately but nothing total. propyl power will fix this

thats different you speak of mental EGO and not physical.

 

mental/physical is inseparable.
the body/mind should be considered one. what occurs in one affects the other without question.
