Two years later he became a vegan. Two years after that he was introduced seriously to raw foods. About two years ago now he found the true raw food path. One that is fulfilling and whole and free of con artists. It has been a rough, rocky, bouncy mo frickin road yo. Finally free of drug addictions. Caffeine. Alcohol. Weed. Tobacco. The trick was blowing the truth out the wall. Eat fruit! Tons of it! Get at least 3,000 calories from fruits and vegetables, raw. One banana has roughly 100 cals. kk? One date has about 70. Half a watermelon is like eh 400ish depending on the size. So if you want to be a super powered fruitarian with energy and clarity you can say in one day eat a watermelon and 20 bananas. Sound crazy? 20 bananas! Well there are resources. This one dude eats up to 70 bananas a day and is an ultra endurance athlete. After doing this for a few years he had his blood work done and it was like picture perfect. Great calcium, normal levels of potassium, and he showed a textbook that had the stats on profesional bodybuilders and his blood had MORE protein in it than the bodybuilders. How is this possible, you might ask, if your keen to it? Everything you think you know about nutrition is probably a lie. There might be a few bits of truth here and there. Like for example it is so surprising when the cashiers say, "Bananas are good for you!" yet probably think health food tastes terrible. This is a response to seeing 50 bananas piled on the lineup. Put ten bananas in a blender, add water, watch it grow. This diet is economical, too. The fad raw food diets are so deprived and deficient and laden with fat that the sales pitch is full of drugs foods that rape the market. Who wants more information? I got links.
Have been vegetarian 98+% for ten years! Have been about 97% vegan for 8 years. The thing that seems to cause cravings for non-vegan foods when someone embarks on a vegan path is undereating(specifically of sweet fruits). Being a vegan is easy. Just eat enough and keep your fat ratios low! In ultra-nutrition high fat intake directly corroborates with high health problems. If you look at raw food fad diets the ratio of nutrients is so heavily laden with fat that it actually is a higher fat diet than standard American. This is insane! No wonder it has such a bad rap and everyone fails at it and blames the vegans! Then anorexics become vegans and immidiately people point fingers and say- neh neh mleh being vegan made you scrawny skinny bitch etc etc ya da da ! Well look at me. Weight clocks in over 160lbs. To be a vegan eat enough calories. You need carbs - fuel - or your body will wither away. You need more than 2k calories unless you weigh less than 100lbs, still then, if you are very active, you can do with 3k. 30 bananas might seem crazy at first but it is a harmonious diet. You can thrive on it. Ask questions. There are many answers. You might not like them. Peace
