Do you ever have dreams with the majority of people in them being people that you dont know and have never seen before. Most of the characters in my dreams are people who (as far as I know) exist exclusively in my dream. My dreams are always lucid and very vivid too. Usually the places in them are places Ive never been or seen before too. I was just wondering how common this is and if any of you experience these types of dreams?
I have the same thing, mostly. But last night I had a premonition dream. After work yesterday I called my boss and asked him to get my gloves out of the back of his truck for me, so they wouldn't get stolen. They are brand new and costed like 9 dollars. He said sure, ok. Last night in my dream I saw them right where I left them, in the back of his truck. This morning I found them (still there) just like in my dream.
I have lots and lots of dreams where I don't know any of the people. They are probably not people who exist anywhere else. Perhaps this is more common than we realize. Thank you for posting this; I feel a little less weird.
Mine are always strangers. Some of the locations have been combinations of differant places I've been in my life. Some locations have been showing up for years and years ,but with disimiliar stories taking place. The only exeption was 2 nights ago ,I drempt of an old friend and I saw her as a beautiful teenager. She's 70.
well my dreams aren't ABOUT people. sometimes there are people in them, sometimes not. often they happen in places recognizable from other dreams, that are like a parallel universe. some of them are almost more familiar then the places i've lived when awake. i have a visual mind, and i love exploring visual places. my dreams let me do that, more then people let each other here in this world when i'm awake.
I thought it might have been uncommon, good to know that other people meet strangers in dreams too. My dreams, although not being nightmares, usually have a very twisted sinister edge to them. Not always but sometimes. Like the one the other night, we were camping in some woods and most of the people I didnt know but a few of my friends were there too. We were sitting around the fire and some others were off hunting, most of the people there were complete assholes and I didnt feel safe at all. I was really drunk in the dream which was strange. The hunting people came back with a female boar I think and they had cut off its fanny and threw it at me and all the dickheads started laughing while I was covered in blood. I got up and tried to walk to the other side of the fire where my friends were but because I was pissed I was stumbling everywhere, I fell into my friends and then I woke up. Bit of an odd one that was.
there could be meaning to this....I am starting to analyze dreams and see what my unconsciousness mind is try to tell me. I suggest you reflect on this and mediated on it.
Nah I just use my dreams for entertainment Seriously if I try to take meanings from some of my dreams Id be fucked :rofl: Like maybe that dream means I should get bollocksed and go fuck a boar
Every person you see in your dream is supposed to be you. They are all simply different reflections of how an individual might see themselves. If you see a man running from a monster. You are that man, running away from your troubles in life.
Most of my dreams include strangers, probably because most of the people that I see on the street are people that I have never seen, and whoes faces are stored inside my brain and released in my nightmares and other dreams. However, I must also add that it is ages ago since I have ever had a dream. In the last couple of months, I have dreamlessly slept from late in the night to late in the day, which I find strange.
I dream every night whether I remember it or not something during the day when I wake up will spark a quick memory of the dream of the night before but its always lost before I can fully remember it.
