So I've never tried pain killers before, but my friend's got some pills of 5/325 hydrocodone, and we want to try it. What's a good first time dosage? Would we need enough for us to have to do a cold water extraction to get rid of the apap?
Being your first time and all and your not using it everyday for long long time, no need for cold water extraction. Just swallow the pill. If you have never had it before, Just take one. That will be plenty for a good feeling. Just pop one and enjoy it. I remember my first time and I took a 10/500, and it knocked me out to sleep and lil nausea. So 5/325 will be great first dose, let us know how it goes?
a tylenol is like 500mg of acetaminophen and the suggested dose is 2 caps, so thats 1000mg right there. even if you pop 3 of your hydros your still under the amount of suggested acetaminophen dose, and 4000mg is commonly accepted as a maximum daily dose before you have to worry, so youll be fine first time dosage is hard to say for sure, as everyone is different. back when i first started to play around with pharmaceutical narcotics years ago i would take 3 10/325 norcos without any negative side effects, where as i have friends that start feeling sick after a single 5/500 vic id suggest starting out by chewing up 2 of them, wait 45mins or so and if you dont feel sick pop another
You can also crunch them up and take them that way. It's easier if you have a pill cutter, but anyway it allows for quicker absorbtion. Or even grind them up to a powder, put on a single sheet of toilet paper, twist off the excess paper and swallow the whole thing with a glass of water. You'll feel the whole effect within 5-10 min. It's a lot of fun. I sometimes do it with 4 10mg hydro's.
since it's hydrocodone and not oxycodone i'd say take 4, as 15 mg of oxy is good for a first timer and with hydro being weaker than oxy i'd say 20 mg of hydro would be good. whoever said take one is lying, you won't feel anything and will be disappointed, imo.
5mg is pretty woosey. I doubt that you could tell. 15 mg is prob. the minimum - course the problem there is you're getting 1500 mg tylenol. Hydrocodone is nice but it is not serious narcotics. You have what you have but NORCO has 10 mg and only 325mg tylenol.
Everyones tolerance is different. But my first time with lortab, 10/500 really knocked me out and feeling wonderful. But of course that was the first time, now 30 mg it takes to feel something.
We each took four pills (20mg) about three hours ago, along with a few bowls of nice weed. I have felt very lazy the entire time, and I'm definitely feeling a distinctly non-weed high. It's been a good experience, coming in waves, but never too strong or too weak. I think 20mg was a good first does. Less probably would have left me disappointed, and more might have pushed it a little bit (my friend did throw up, and the higher dose of apap might be bad).
