does anyone have a clue when will the Government extend the unemployment? or telling me hows it going?
you probably have to go back to the office where you applied for unemployment and tell them you have not found a job yet.. i know people that have collected unemployment now for almost 2 years
im not quite sure i get the question. when your benefit runs out or your claim expires you can apply for an extension, there are a few different types of extensions and your local unemployment website will go into details about those or are you asking when your applied for extension will take effect? if so it depends on your situation, call your unemployment office and they will be able to tell you

well I was on my third cycle of getting unemployment and today I only had 47 dollars left in my account and I usually get 260 every two weeks but since I had withdrawn every dollar now I called the office and they tolled me that they could only pay 47 since the governement is still deciding on to rather to recountinue another unemployment cycle. So now I have to really think about where do spend these 47 dollars but its going str8 to gas.
i would blame him if he isnt actually looking for work and just wants to mooch off the government i was getting nearly 300 a week with obamas additional 25 bucks or whatever they tack on top of your state allowance, which is more than a "g" a month. I wanted to get off that shit asap, because i prefer to actually work for my money, and could get far more if actually working is this dude on food stamps too?
last post wasnt directed at you, it was directed to the previous poster's friend well if you have ran out of all of the available extensions provided with obamas unemployment stuff sorry to say your out of luck. just going to have to wait and see if they increase benifits again if your hard up for work i would suggest getting your resume together and going to literally every single temp agency in your area, let them know you would prefer work in your field but will accept anything for the time being. most places have at least 3-4 different agencies and if you hit them all up youll probably get a job within a week or two
from what i understand 'republicans' are filibustering, or otherwise blocking and subverting the extensions. rachel maddow had a segment about it, i think the 16th if you look up her previous shows, and had a lady on, a 'democrat' who says they are trying to get the unemployment benefits extended by the end of this month. so it is still up in the air whether or not the unemployment benefits will be extended.
believe me I have tried looking for a job but the situation in Miami sucks! I will need to brush up on my resume though..ugh.
i feel for you man shits tough everywhere these days. the main issue with most people trying to find work is they expect the pay they used to get, to do the job they used to do. it is possible to find that, but if your on your last extension it appears you have not had such luck. while its very likely you are more qualified and deserve more than temp agencies may offer, if you have no other option taking less glorious work for shitty pay may have to do until you find something better good luck and i hope for you sake and many they DO decide to extend benefits once agin
im considering reentering the work force, ive been SAHM for about 4 1/2 years. just tired of not saving enough money on one paycheck. i want my dreams now, and those require money. so i guess i gotta suck it up and send my kid to preschool. they really have to find a way to bring in more jobs. and teach people to live frugally, or at least within their means.
how it works in canada is you get however many hours your entitled to. I got basically 45 weeks when I started I got 4 weeks left lol. so Im hopin this paving job goes throug so I got work till snow fall then back on e.I + saved money etc;. I kinda cant wait to start work anyways. been sitting around stoned too long.
