Definition of the saying: "This phrase means doing anything whatsoever that is required to get the result you want, regardless of the methods used. It does not matter whether these methods are legal or illegal, fair or foul, kind or cruel, truth or lies, democratic or dictatorial, good or evil: the phrase refers to the deliberate use of wrong methods and law-breaking by the powerful to get their way or remove an opponent or whatever, and immediate and self-righteous denial if details are made known." This has been on my mind for the last year or so. I'm getting tired of "the rat race", feeling like a slave to the system, the mind numbing day to day wondering if I will make the bills, ect. I'm not the first to post something like this but here is my dilemma. I'm no saint and now of a way to make enough money to get me my dream. A piece of property and money to start a business. Would a few years of this justify the end result. It would be a few years of stuff that might haunt the rest of my life. In your own opinion "Would the end justify the means" if you had this option?
depends on which laws you are breaking, selling pot? go for it. Selling coke, awesome, selling heroin, not to minors, but awesome selling ass. if it's yours, have fun, if it's someone elses, just shoot yourself now.
both means and ends exist such that they can never be justified. right now, too many people seem to think personal aggrandizement justifies the demise of the human species.
