i say D awful. i think obama and his administration is going to go down in history as one of the worst administrations in american history. i just think you can't cover up all the mistakes with happy liberal bias. you just can't hide the spending and the increase of debt and once the healthcare kicks in, that's when you will see the decline in healthcare..it's just a disastrous administration full of liberals who don't have any respect for the constiution and due process of government.

The CBO(congressional budget office) is non-partiisan, the only problem is they are more like an independent calculator. the CBO calculate the figures/numbers YOU give them. So the democrats could literally give the CBO bullcrap numbers to make the total cost of healthcare bill under 1 trillion because the CBO did the estimates. but that's crap because they added figures that were false. you see?

 

because remember all the democrats need or republicans for that matter, is for the CBO to tell the public it's solvent or reasonable output or whatever. because that's acceptable, as long as the CBO said something positive. but if the CBO estimated fase numbers or figures then the whole thing is a sham. which is what happened, the healthcare when it's all said and done will cost way over 1 trillion. sadly. and the republicans use the "CBO" estimate scam too, so it's not just a democrats scam.

 

No, try again, the CBO makes the numbers for bills, that's their job, they're given a plan(they were given a plan by both democrats and republicans) and calculated the expected costs and savings of both of them. The only numbers they're given is tax percents and income divided into costs. You just have nothing else to base your reality on except operating under the asinine assumption that the CBO is forging numbers, no correction, given false numbers, which they weren't even given. Christ. Do you even have any idea of how laws are made, worded and passed?

So, tell me, what numbers would be lied about to the CBO.

I said what you just said, the democrats gave them their plan and the CBO did the estimates, it came under 1 trillion. you must be pretty naive to believe political parties trying to sell a product. and I don't agree with republicans always just to let you know. But if you look back at any, ANY form of socialism in america, social security, medicare, medicaid, schip, prescription drug program for seniors, the total estimates are always, ALWAYS way off. because you just don't know how many people will need the services and how much the services cost 10 years down the road. because inflation has an impact, also if you are funding the service through taxing workers, you just can't predict the employment numbers 10 years ahead, the stock market booms and busts..like i said, you can't be ignorant

 

I would say Obamas doing a fine job, given what he was left to work with.

 

and obama has failed the gulf region of america. he was in favor of offshore drilling in the gulf. and allowed deep water drilling, he could have held a moratorium on all drilling projects and upped regulations on suspect drilling facilities, like the deepwater horizen that exloded. i mean he initially was against domestic/offshore drilling and then he pandered to the tea party right wing to allow it to continue..i know obama isn't wholly to blame, nor his administration..he could have done a better job at regulating oil companies is all i'm saying, he is a liberal after all.
