Neglect - thoughts on uneven dreading

So, the neglect is going well. =) However, it seems most of the dreads are forming on the back left side of my head. Did you guys just wear hats and stuff to tyr and hide the fact that one side of your head sports straight long hair nad hte other side is messy as shit?? lol

Btw, I tried to take pics but because my hair is brown, hardly anything showed up.

 

I just wear my hair up....have been for about the past 2 years! lol.

 

Do you sleep on that side of your head, or play with your hair on the opposite side?

 

It's from how I sleep DV. I know that. Just wondering how people deal with it though. lol

 

Embrace the unevenness. Deal with what is uneven in your life and uneven dreading will not matter Or you could wear a tam or a bandanna/scarf or sumpin'

I met a fellow dreaded bretheren a while ago at a bar. He told me him and his wife had pointed me out before and referred to me as "the guy with the uneven dreads."

it's just my front right side of my head that takin forever to do it's thangathang but it's gettin there.

You should post the pics anyways, I'm eager yo see your progression and if your uneveness is as bad as mine.

 

i would sleep on a different side of my head each night. after a while it evened itself out. this time around tho it dont matter to me, they are going to dread the way they want and thats it

 

Yes, I am just letting it do its thing... it's kinda weird though the way it is deciding to dread. My right side is pin straight... the other side is getting all nappy! lol

 

lol yea the first time i dreaded my hair it was the back right side of my hair that started to dread first. i would pull it back bc half was dreading and half wasnt. but one i started to sleep on a different side of my head each night it slowly all got to a point where you couldnt tell.
