Plea for Awesomeness - Harrisonburg/Bridgewater

I'm in a place not exactly known for it's hippies, a rural portion of VA where people are still getting the Civil War out of their systems. I'm wondering if there's anyone in Bridgewater or Harrisonburg or otherwise near enough to come here and go on some splendid adventure with me and/or get to know each other (which IS an adventure with me). Anyone???
