Check out this news clip about the famous Goal Post Jesus statue near Cincinnati, Ohio. Lighting strikes it and it burns to the ground. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_lightning_strikes_jesus_statue .
It is sad that it burnt down as it was a landmark and I am sure that to many it had meaning. What is really alarming is reading the comments at the end of the article.

Another strange happening. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100615/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gulf_oil_spill_fire "NEW ORLEANS – A bolt of lightning struck the ship capturing oil from a blown-out BP well in the on Tuesday, igniting a fire that halted containment efforts in another setback for the embattled company in its nearly two-month struggle to stop the spill, the company said." .
the comments at the end are so funny and weird... they go from this to this :rofl:...some people think waaaay to much into it... some of them comments are just crazy..
Many years ago, a group of college guys put up a Statue of Liberty on a frozen lake near the college as a prank. It was only the head and arm, and it looked like it was drowning. Sort of alone the lines of the Touchdown Jesus statue. .
