Why wont they pay for you more, whats their explanation. Well I find insurances to be in the business of making money, so they could care less of the patient. Sorry

haha i wish shed give me morphine. thatll never happen. ANyway... my insurance will only pay for 60 vics a month. and ive been getting 120 a month so thats why they said i was over my limit. went to the doc today and told her ive been having bad migranes (which i really have) and she said its probably cuz i havent been taking vicoden. so she gave me a script for fioricet. Its got some barbituate in it :). And she gave me tylenol-codiene 3 untill i can get my vics again. so ima happy camper. i just got new xrays on my back today. its all fucked up. it didnt help too much that i went moshing at a korn concert a few days ago, fucked it up even more. im only 20 and feel like a fucking old cripple lol

hydrocodone is not an expensive drug without insurance, in fact it's quite reasonable. i don't know what your financial situation is, but if you aren't satisfied with the other drugs your doc gave you i think it's worth looking into just paying the cash price for the extra 60

Morphine pill form sucks due to its extremely low bioavailability. IV form is another story, but id take hydro pills over morphine pills any day.
And at the original post, sorry your insurance won't cover it any more, but at least you still have the prescription and it's probably a lot cheaper than buying em off the street.

That's a good point, marksup. Just because insurance won't cover it doesn't mean your doc can't continue prescribing your usual amount. You just cover the rest in cash. Go with a good generic like Watson; it's just as good as name-brand vicodin.

Dont you love it when the Insurance people know whats better for you than the doc?
I hate how Insurance companies want you to pay ridiculous premiums, but when you need it they look for any little thing to keep from paying out. I think they need to be monitored a little more closely, I'm sure they fuck people everyday who desperately need the money when a catastrophe happens.
Sorry to rant, but Insurance scum really pisses me off!!
