when I do a grayscale of this psychedelic image...

    ...the motion effect doesn't occur. Color means everything, I suppose. :)

    I dont know... I think it does, but much, much slower, and almost kind of in-out likr gentle breathing...if that makes any kind of sense :confused:

    It analyzes photos or artwork and turns them into music ! Hours of fun ! It has some samples on the site to give you an idea of what it can do - the Lara Croft one is rather good.

    It would be cool if you can play with the colors a bit and turn it into one of those after image pictures where you stare at it for a bit and then turn away to a white surface and it appears on the surface but color shifted. I don't know if It would work anyways, but these present colors probably would not be too effective.

    Also on my iPod touch the regular photo moves slower than on the pc.

    There seems to be a color after-image effect involved in causing the perceived motion. I don't notice motion in the pic unless I move my eyes around and look at different parts of the pic. The after-image effect would occur as a result of moving one's eyes to view another part of the pic, as the part of the retina that was looking at color A would likely be seeing color B.

    I think you're right... if you concentrate your vision on a specific point, it all stops moving.
