ive been told by 2 people that oxy does not show up on a standard 5 panel ua. i then looked online and found conflicting opinions, but many people saying it does not show up, and usually the people saying it does show up dont seem to show much knowledge of drugs now my question is, does anyone know for a fact one way or the other? such as a personal experience, or knowing someone whos a lab tech or something that would actually know what they are talking about? thx
NO it wont, not on a standard 5 panel, oxy has to be directly looked for like a 12 panel. Do some more research dude....
Actually since oxycodone is synthesized from thebaine it won't show up as an opiate. Don't answer questions if you don't know what you're talking about.
i appreciate the info guys once i take my ua after railing oxy all weekend ill post back with hopefully another example of oxy not showing up on a 5pnl ua
I thought the only thing made from Thebaine was Bupe? I am finding this discussion to be quite interesting. So what opies will give off a positive? Dope and opium clearly, what about hydro-c? hydro-m? oxy-m? I have never really studied what exactly each p-killer is made or synthesised from, so maybe some of you mad scientists could clear this up. And as far as 'flushing' your system of opiates for a drug screen as some do with weed, I dont think you can. I believe the only alternative would be to abstain for 3 days prior (possibly more for addicts), or to go with synthetic urine.
Hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, and methadone basically all synthetic oppies don't metabolize into the same metabolites as heroin, codeine, or morphine, and those are what they look for in a 5 pannel.
