This is a terrible video from the war in Iraq

sickening. the way they talk about the situation like someone would talk about the baseball game last night is ridiculous. too bad no real backlash is going to come of this video from the American public...sigh

 

I was actually for this war when it started. But, c'mon man, what the fuck are we still doing in Iraq? I know the situation will be bad if we leave, but Americans can't be the police of the world.

Innocent people and american soldiers are dying for reasons that aren't too clear.

But they are still trying to do the things I assume you supported.

and regardless americans arent the only ones over there helping.

they could use a break to give their personnel time to regroup.

along with all these shitty stories theres now a total of six Canadian forces soldiers that have been killed from friendly fire.

im not sure which ones but 4 of these soldiers deaths were due to american pilots on amphetamines.

dude chill, i just saw the video and thought some people might find it interesting. If youre not alarmed thats fine. i guess adding my own opinion opens the floor up for debate.

however, Im going to admit it right now that im not that informed on political/current event details.

 

The video didn't work for me. So I wondered what I was supposed to be alarmed about. I didn't view the video and think:"So what?"
I just didn't know what I was supposed to be alarmed about.
The write-up about the video was one sided so I didn't take much notice to that.

 

oh man Im sorry. I totally read that wrong.

Its a video taken from some military plane. They see some Iraqi journalists on the ground get out of a van with cameras, and mistake the cameras for guns. And then they just gun them all down. I cant remember how many people there are but its like 5-6 and apparantly there were some children in the van too.

On the one side its sort of an honest mistake, but the part that bothers me is how they talk about the incident. Its almost like they are talking about" the baseball game last night" or something. Like they laugh when one of the army's vehicles drive over a body and I dunno. They whole thing is so cold and "normal"
