Orphan

Anyone else see this? I thought it was very good...the twist in the end was brilliant & the girls who played Esther & Max stole the movie. I was expecting yet another "bad seed/kid" movie & was pleasently suprised...

 

The ending was retarded. Twist endings usually defy the internal logic of a story without clever foreshadowing. It's team of hack writers trying to put one over on the audience.

Other wise it was a decent B horror film. That little girl who played Esther was a solid young actress.

I just saw it, fuck me. I didn't like kids before hand and now I'll never trust one again.

Seriously this movie pissed me off. The parents were such noobs!

 

I saw it last night and enjoyed it.

 

haha i thought the dad was the biggest noob! But i really enjoyed it

 

I did want to hit the dad, he was pretty annoying.

I saw it for the first time two nights ago and it was very good. The parents were indeed "noobs" and the little 10 year old bully deserved to have her ankle broken by the orphan. Will she bully anyone again? I think not.

And that twist was MESSED UP. But I loved it.

 

Great movie! I especially loved the ending. I would definitely watch it again.

 

One of the best and most surprising movies I've ever seen in this category.
